The highly anticipated biennial event returns to the Grand Harbour in summer 2026 with a spectacular show that has become synonymous with this iconic evening organised by the Valletta Cultural Agency. This year’s edition promises a visually stunning production, featuring a variety of water performances that will illuminate the Grand Harbour.

The Valletta Pageant of the Seas invites the audience to a maritime choreography featuring a traditional luzzu, live music, kayaks, and yachts moving across the Grand Harbour in a coordinated display. The harbour then transforms with a fountain show enhanced by laser projections, lighting effects, and pyrotechnics, creating a striking visual experience against Valletta’s skyline. A grand fireworks display illuminating the entire harbour wraps up the evening.

For the first time, private boat owners can apply to experience the Valletta Pageant of the Seas 2026 from a dedicated spectator area in the Grand Harbour, offering a unique opportunity to enjoy this spectacular event from the sea.

Boat owners wishing to access the designated spectator area are required to complete the application form. Approved vessels may enter the area between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., subject to clearance from Valletta VTS. All applications will be reviewed, and selected applicants will receive confirmation prior to the event.

The Valletta Pageant of the Seas is once again staged by the Valletta Cultural Agency, with the support of Visit Malta.
