As Malta gears up for the second edition of designMT (29 Sept – 4 Oct 2025), FiftySix Design Talks will host an evening exploring how design evolves between cultural roots and forward-looking practice.

The session features five voices from this year’s programme:

• Christian Bezzina, Medina Steels – bespoke metalwork merging precision with creative expression.

• Gabriella Lukacs, GABE Studio – sustainable fashion through upcycling and zero-waste design.

• Geoffrey Barault – sculptural patisserie blending heritage with contemporary art forms.

• François Mangion, I+A – spatial design shaped by light, material, and proportion.

• David Sciberras, Invent 3D – engineering and additive manufacturing for product innovation.
