Christmas stories will be retold in two 40-minute improvised theatre puppet shows by Sean Briffa and Jeremy Vella.

The experienced duo takes inspiration from the traditional British puppet show Punch and Judy, which takes place in small colourful booths in city streets, for the entertainment of all.

These events will take place Under the Arches near the National Library (Bibliotheca) in Old Treasury Street.

This event is part of the Valletta Cultural Agency’s Christmas in the City programme, taking place from the 22nd November till the 24th December in the main squares, strategic locations and the quaint streets of Valletta. Christmas lights and decorations can continue to be enjoyed throughout January.

Covid regulations:

– Admittance shall be exclusively on presentation of a valid vaccination certificate. Organisers are to verify vaccine certificates by authentication with the system.
– Children under the age of 12 years need not have a test result so long as they are accompanied by a parent/guardian who is in possession of a valid COVID-19 vaccine certificate.
– Masks are to be worn throughout the workshops.
