Grow your Design Practice by Applying for the Annual Studio Membership at the Valletta Design Cluster
The Valletta Design Cluster invites artists, creatives and designers to apply for the Annual Studio Membership. The call is open for designers wishing access to their own private studio, within a wider community of creatives. The Valletta Design Cluster aims to act as a catalyst for creative and economic growth, as well as growing a sense of community.
The membership includes not only studio access at a competitive cost, but also the ability to book other spaces or makerspace tools within the Cluster to produce work, but also meet clients, hold events, learn new skills and network.
A Space where Artists and Designers Flourish
The studio membership is aimed towards creative practitioners who are ready to take a new leap into their careers and are dedicating themselves to their practice on a full-time basis. The call is especially relevant for artists and designers who are early in their careers. With the membership being offered at a highly competitive cost, Studio Members are able to focus more on their work and grow their creative business. By the end of their membership at the Valletta Design Cluster, the goal is to see studio members grow, not only artistically and economically, but also grow their practice sustainably.
Access to Essential Resources for Creativity
The studio membership is unique in how it provides other resources to boost member’s creativity. The Valletta Design Cluster has a fully equipped makerspace, and as part of its regular membership program offers training sessions for machines, such as the CNC laser, CNC router, 3D printers and CNC embroidery machines, which are all used for design and fabrication. Members can learn through self-initiative and eventually be allowed to use machines independently. Additionally, the Valletta Design Cluster also provides kitchen spaces for culinary experimentation, meeting rooms and access to a hall.
Collaboration, Network and CommunityÂ
At the heart of the Valletta Design Cluster is a spirit of collaboration and community. Through networking events, talks, and shared spaces, the VDC fosters new bridges to form across different members practicing different creative disciplines. We provide a space for like-minded creatives to share information, ideas and work and utilise the network as a powerful tool for growth.
