St George\u2019s Square will once again transform into the heart of Malta\u2019s biggest end-of-year event, featuring a stellar lineup of local and international artists, while the Grand Harbour will shine with its most impressive fireworks display yet.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by the Valletta Cultural Agency in collaboration with G7 Events, the Ministry for National Heritage, Lands and Local Government, and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, the celebrations will be hosted by Jamie Cardona and Taryn Mamo Cefai.<\/p>\n<p>The evening kicks off with local favourite Glen Vella and his band, followed by a performance from the Palace String Orchestra, featuring some of Malta\u2019s leading artists, including Aidan Drakard, Denise, Gaia, Karin Duff, Keith Zammit Mintoff and Klinsmann in a series of timeless classics and unique collaborations.<\/p>\n<p>As the countdown approaches, DJs Denzel Jo Armani and Wayne will set the stage with a high-energy mash-up of 2025\u2019s biggest dance anthems, enhanced by dazzling stage effects and fireworks broadcast live across local TV.<\/p>\n<p>When the clock strikes midnight, the celebrations reach their peak with a special live performance by international star John Newman. Known for his global hit \u201cLove Me Again\u201d and collaborations with dance producers such as Calvin Harris (\u201cBlame\u201d), Newman brings his powerful, soulful voice fused with electronic beats to Valletta\u2019s stage.<\/p>\n<p>The night will come to a close with an upbeat set by DJ Gabii, ensuring the celebrations end on a high.<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Harbour fireworks display will be the biggest one so far thanks to a collaboration with the Malta Authority.<\/p>\n<p>The Valletta National New Year\u2019s Eve Celebration is organised by G7 Events and supported by a Partnership Agreement for Large-Scale Events and Initiatives provided by the Valletta Cultural Agency within the Ministry for Culture, Lands and Local Government.
