In a small and quiet village in Malta, the traditional Good Friday play is performed every year. It is an important annual event in this small community.<\/p>\n

Nothing ever changes in this play, just like what happens in everyday life in this village. No parish priest has managed to touch and change anything from this tradition. No actor has managed to change a line. Each year, everything repeats itself, in the same way… until a new actress appears. A seventeen-year-old girl from another distant village. Now everything will take a different turn. Now the play will change… everything will change.<\/p>\n
