On the occasion of the maltabiennale.art<\/span><\/a> 2024, the Valletta Cultural Agency is commemorating Ray Mahoney,<\/span><\/p>\n

Ray Mahoney, a luminary in Maltese music and poetry, etched his name in the annals of artistic brilliance. Renowned for his contributions to literature, music, and culture, Mahoney’s legacy includes the groundbreaking “\u0120ensna” (1982), a patriotic Rock Opera that masterfully blended realism, emotion, and triumph. His creative journey continued with ten more musicals, such as “Bastilja,” “Ulied in-Nanna Venut fl-Amerika”,\u201dManwel! Manwel!”and “It-Tfajla tal-Palazz”.<\/div>\n
