Experience the magical synergy of Sean Borg’s violin expertise and his soul-stirring voice together with V\u00e9ronique Vella’s enchanting piano music. This collaboration promises an evening of musical brilliance. Sean and V\u00e9ronique will also be joining us in Merchant Street, Valletta, for another music performance on the 12th December 2023 at 6pm.<\/p>\n

About Sean Borg:<\/strong> A Freelance Artist and Marketing Professional, Sean Borg is a maestro of multiple talents showcasing his skills as a violinist, singer, and actor. From captivating roles in acclaimed productions like The Band’s Visit and Matilda the Musical to winning the 45th edition of L-G\u0127anja tal-Poplu, Sean’s artistic prowess knows no bounds.<\/p>\n

About V\u00e9ronique Vella:<\/strong> Renowned as a pianist, composer, arranger, and music educator, V\u00e9ronique Vella stands as a trailblazer in the world of music. In 2008, she made history as the first Maltese woman to earn a Ph.D. in Music Composition. Having received prestigious scholarships and funding, V\u00e9ronique pursued her musical journey at Edinburgh Napier University, graduating with First Class Honours in Music. Her memorable piano performances include solo and chamber recitals at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, showcasing her virtuosity. Notably, her Concerto for Maria (2015) and Ritratti (2011) premiered with the MPO at Teatru Manoel, conducted by Mro Brian Schembri and Dr. Michelle Castelletti, respectively.<\/p>\n
