Repair Café for Tinkering Days

Do you have a broken item made of wood, ceramic, or cloth that you’d love to see fixed? Bring it along to our Repair Café on 10th May from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Valletta Design Cluster happening during our annual Tinkering Day event!

Our skilled volunteers will be on hand to help restore your cherished items. Whether it’s a chipped ceramic plate, a wooden chair with a wobble, or a torn fabric cushion, we’ll do our best to breathe new life into them. Please note that we can only accept small to medium-sized items, with the largest being chairs or coffee tables.

Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to save your belongings from the landfill and give them a second chance.

Eligible items: small wooden furniture not larger then a coffee-table, ornamental or decorative pieces in ceramic and textile as well as any lamps/ shades or small fittings.

What is Tinkering Day?

Get ready to ignite your creativity at the Valletta Design Cluster’s 2nd Annual Tinkering Day! Inspired by the global Maker Movement, this exciting event celebrates the ingenuity and passion of local inventors, makers and hobbyists of all ages.

Join us on Saturday, May 10th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Valletta Design Cluster.  You will find ongoing activities for all ages throughout the day, as well as workshops in crafts, painting, and baking and presentations on new technology.
