This is the third time that the Festival will be held in Malta, and the first time that it will take place in Strada Stretta, at The Splendid and surrounding venues as well as City Theatre on Old Bakery Street in Valletta.
Members of the Russian-speaking community have produced this festival specifically for children and teenagers. The aim of the Festival is for youths to come together to foster their creativity as well as to develop new forms of theatre and cinema alongside one another.
The educational centre “World of Harmony” Film and Theatre School in Malta has organised several exciting activities for those attending over the three days. These activities include giving the participants the chance to create their own films which will be shown at a professional film screening on the 30th of November at The Splendid. On the 31st of November, the participants will be guided around Valletta on a tour which will highlight the city’s theatrical history. Furthermore, on the final day of the Festival the participants will have the opportunity to showcase their films at The City Theatre.
The detailed programme of the Festival will be published on the Facebook event page. Due to the current restrictions, all those attending the Festival must wear a mask at all times. Furthermore, the number of audience members will remain limited and will function on a first come, first served basis. Please note that the event could be subject to further restrictions as indicated by Maltese authorities.
