Join us on Friday the 15th of November at 97 Notes, Strait Street, for an electrifying journey through one of the greatest musical genres – the third edition of Strait to the Blues!  From the grounded and gritty guitar work of the Delta and Chicago blues, to the sensual and soaring sounds of Texas blues and UK Blues-rock, this show will delve into every nook and cranny of the genre, and will do so with a heavy hand and an attitude.

The performance will be helmed by the venerable blues trio Vinyl Paradise (Ben Bailey, Antoine Tonna, Patrick Camilleri), whose powerful and energetic performances have earned them a reputation as a near-unstoppable musical force. Joining them throughout the night, the talents of Ian Siegal, Rob Chapman, ANTOINE FAURE’, Yorika Attard, Sean Kamati, Amelia, and Dario Genovese, whose musical influences span from the deepest blues originators to the stars that evolved and elevated the genre.

For fans of Freddie King, B.B. King, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin, Robert Cray, John Mayer, and – of course – Vinyl Paradise, this must-see performance will fan the flames of that burning love for the blues, and light a few more fires in the process!

STRAIT TO THE BLUES #3, which will be held at 97 Notes in Strait street, Valletta, on Friday the 15^th of November at 8:30pm, is part of the Valletta Cultural Agency’s (VCA) STRADA STRETTA programme.  Entrance is free of charge.
