A spring season of webinars featuring top international speakers Francois Matarasso, Linda Norris and Danielle Kuijten shall be happening between April and June as part of the buildup to the international conference MUZE.X Shaping Museum Futures happening in Valletta this coming October.
An international call for papers has just been published. This second series of webinars shall take the form of conversations, informed by each speaker’s contributions and thoughts about museum futures.
On Thursday 22 April at 6.30pm., Francois Matarasso shall be in conversation about participation in museums and how this need has been brought to a head by the COVID-19 pandemic. On Thursday May 27 at 6.30 p.m., Linda Norris from the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience (ICSC) shall be in conversation about creativity in museum practice and on Thursday 11th June at 6.30pm Danielle Kuijten, Director at Imagine IC and chair ICOM COMCOL, shall be in conversation about museum collections and collections development practices.
