Simple Expressions of Complex Thoughts

In a kaleidoscope of hues and ideas, the Valletta Cultural Agency unveils a collaborative art exhibition. Curated by Hannah Dowling and featuring around 30 pieces by Maltese and Malta-based artists, the collection echoes the spirit of abstract expressionism. Channeling the essence of Mark Rothko, the exhibition serves as a visual meditation on his powerful belief that art should encapsulate “the simple expression of complex thought.”

Exhibition opening hours:

Friday 12th – Sunday 21st of April 2024
Mon – Sat 10:00am – 6:00pm
Sundays 10:00am – 1:00pm

Entrance is free
