Fully Booked
In everyone’s childhood, there is a dish that brings a smile to their face. For me, that dish is ravjul, as my mother, Sylvana, makes it. I invite you to join me for an evening where my mother will teach us how to make this dish, while narrating how her mother used to prepare ravjul and how food nourishes the spirit of a community.
The session will conclude with a shared meal around one table, where we can enjoy our freshly made ravjul and discuss dishes that evoke strong emotions from our childhoods – how they vary from one household to another, from one culture to another.
This event will be in Maltese, but we will provide English translation for those who need it.
During this event, sound will be recorded for the purposes of conservation and research.
This event is fully booked.
This event is part of the ‘Studio Sessions’ programme of the Valletta Design Cluster.
