Musician, composer and guitar virtuoso Wayne Camilleri will be leading his band, WAYNE & the WALL of SOUND – consisting of some of the island’s most renowned musicians and singers – for a Rock-themed event two days before Halloween…. ROCK O’WEEN.

The event, being held at the 97 Notes venue in Strait Street, Valletta, on the 29th of October at 8:30pm, will see some of Malta’s finest ‘Rockers’ getting it on with an impressive array of song adaptations from Rock’s rich and varied archives.

From pop-rock to metal, prog to punk, Blues-rock to AOR, this pre-Halloween ‘prepper’ promises something special for everyone, including tracks such as: Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb, Black Sabbath’s Paranoid, the Police’s Message in a Bottle, Dire Straits’ Money for Nothing, Motorhead’s Ace of Spades, Green Day’s Basket Case, Gary Moore’s Walking by Myself, The Killers’ Mr. Brightside, Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love, Billy Idol’s White Wedding and many, many more.

The Wall of Sound band consists of Wayne Camilleri on guitars, Stefan Pia on bass and vocals, Luke Xuereb on keyboards and vocals, Georgius Mifsud on guitars and vocals, Jason Smith on drums, along with singers Ganni Zammit, Frank Calleja, Mkaela Attard and Talitha Dimech.

ROCK O’ WEEN with WAYNE and the WALL of SOUND @ 97 Notes, Strait street, Valletta takes place on Tuesday the 29th of October at 8:30 pm – Entrance is free, whilst outlandish and/or bizarre Halloween costumes are more than welcome.
