This performative spiritual journey combines writing, visuals and music at a time when Good Friday rituals cannot be held as usual.
Seven Valletta residents have worked with seven writers to create works that reflect on the meaning of the last seven works of Christ for today’s world. The all-male choir Cappella Sanctae Catharinae will be interpreting polyphonic works and Lenten Gregorian chant, while a visual pilgrimage linked with several devotions of Christ’s Passions in Valletta will take place as a television programme.
The project is created by Alex Vella Gregory and Cappella Sanctae Catherinae and produced by the Valletta Cultural Agency
