We are inviting all young artists aged 5-10 to join us for one of our special Children’s Christmas Shadow Puppet Making session on the 8th and the 15th December 2023, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

What to Expect: Let your child’s imagination run wild as they dive into the enchanting world of shadow puppetry! Our expert instructor will guide the young participants in creating their own Christmas-themed shadow puppets. They will be given time to test out how materials can create unique shadows, exploring how colour and texture can be used to enhance the shadow experience.

Creative Exploration: Using the materials provided, participants will be prompted to create a shadow story using their imagination, with Christmas as the running theme. From twinkling stars to dancing snowflakes, each child will have the chance to bring their festive narrative to life through the magic of shadows.

Who Can Participate: This workshop is tailored for children aged 5-10. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

As the highlight of the evening, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creations in a live trial! The Valletta Design Cluster will transform into a magical theatre, with a spotlight on the incredible shadow puppetry masterpieces crafted by our young artists.
