The Valletta Cultural Agency is once again bringing music to the heart of the capital with another edition of Opera in the Capital 2026, taking place on the 27th June at 9pm in St George’s Square, Valletta.

This year’s concert will feature renowned Maltese tenors Alan Sciberras and Cliff Zammit Stevens, joined by acclaimed mezzo-soprano Marvic Monreal, who continues to build an impressive reputation in some of Europe’s leading theatres.

Accompanying the singers will be the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Ryan Paul Abela, whose energy and musical vision promise to make this year’s edition another memorable experience.

Set against Valletta’s magnificent architecture, Opera in the Capital 2026 has become one of Malta’s standout summer cultural events, attracting audiences of all ages.
