The Valletta Green Festival transforms the heart of the Capital with a magical fantasy garden. Promoting the importance of environmental awareness, it brings together a community committed to sustainability.

Expect a dream garden installation in St George’s Square featuring large trees, hundreds of shrubs, and thousands of flowers in all shapes and colours surrounded by water fountains and pathways designed for walking and relaxation.

This year’s edition also features numerous stands focused on environmental education and awareness, creative workshops for children, an eco-market with local artisanal products, live animation, music, dance, and more.

🌸 St George’s Square

• A beautifully designed garden installation with two water fountains

• Stands by ERA, Project Green, Ambjent Malta, Circular Economy Malta and more

• Eco-activities for all ages including potting, games, giveaways & a photo booth

🎨 Old Theatre Street

• A daily Eco Market with sustainable products

• Free face painting for children (Sat 26 & Sun 27 Apr, Thurs 1 May, Sat 3 May & Sun 4 May between 11am–2pm)

• Kids’ Workshops (Sat 26 & Sun 27 Apr, Thurs 1 May, Sat 3 May & Sun 4 May between 11am–2pm) – from pebble art to upcycled creations.

🎷 Entertainment across the city

• Roaming characters like Timon & Pumbaa, Donald & Daisy on Fri 25 Apr and on Sun 27 Apr from 10am – 12pm

• Performances by Tikka Banda on Saturday 26 April from 10.30 to 12.30pm and on Thursday 1 May from 11am to 1pm while the vibrant rhythms of Trakadum will entertain visitors on Saturday 3 May from 11am – 12.30pm.

• Awareness activities by Wasteserv and the MEEE Mobile Unit

🕒 Daily activities: Most events run from 10am to 6pm, with special workshops and entertainment slots throughout.
