**CINEMA CITY: Calling all Cinephiles!**
Are you interested in film? Do you enjoy outdoor film screenings? Have you always wished to suggest what to screen when attending such events? If yes, then this might be the project for you!
Guided by [the Be Spectactive Initiative](https://www.bespectactive.eu/), this year, the Malta Film Commission and the Valletta Cultural Agency are inviting audience members to become participants in the film screening event, Cinema City, by playing an active role in the programming of the event. How? Help us choose which movies are being screened!
**How will it work?**
Participants will be asked to attend an online orientation day at the end of January 2021. They will then have between February 2021 and end March 2021 to watch movies which have been shortlisted according to a theme and to participate in online meetings with the group, to narrow down the selection to the 5 movies which will eventually be screened at the public event.
**Who can apply?**
Anyone who has reached 18 years of age at the time of application.
Anyone with access to internet and a DVD or Blu-Ray player.
**When can you apply?**
Now!! Deadline for submissions: Sunday 17th January, 17:00hrs (Malta time). Late applications will not be considered.
